Our barns

The main barn is perhaps the only original traditional Sussex Barn around the area, relatively untouched and the perfect setting to host your wedding reception.  Big enough that tables and chairs don’t need to be moved after your wedding feast.  A space to accommodate over 120 guests but works equally well for micro weddings, the way the beams split the barn make this a perfect space to enjoy your wedding breakfast.




We offer hire with either round tables, straight tables or the more traditional rustic tables so if you have plans for a banquet with the traditional rustic trestles or for a more intimate setting with round tables, they all work perfectly making this an ideal wedding venue in Sussex.

The main barn is fully licensed so if the weather isn’t our friend, then we can move the ceremony into the protection of the main barn.  It can offer an intimate, relaxed and beautifully setting to say your vows.  No need to move the tables and chairs, we can simply create the ceremony on the dance floor area. The cart shed is next to the main barn, linked by the adjoining courtyard.  Again, fully licensed but it can offer shade to your guests in the summer sunshine or a little protection from a passing shower.  A place to create a welcome space for your guests to catch up with friends and family, to enjoy your welcome drinks or a place to take a rest from the dancing, all combines to makes the Sussex barn the perfect wedding venue in Sussex.


Fully stocked with straw bales to create straw sofas or even bring in/hire your own furniture to create a bespoke space.

The courtyard sits between the cart shed and the main barn, with its views across the adjoining countryside it’s the perfect backdrop for your ceremony.  It then becomes a wonderful space to welcome your guests with a glass of fizz and a canape.

The stable is our private space for you to have some time with the registrars and then once you’ve’ said your ‘I do’s’ it can become a space for the bridal party to touch up on their makeup or a space for your younger guests or even a spot for your band/dj to get ready!
